If you've got a terrible memory or just can't keep track of the number of credit card, website and other passwords than you need every day, then it's a good idea to use a secure password manager.

Password Retriever allows you to secure your log-ins, passwords, credit card numbers, receipts, and other information in a highly customizable database with a massive 448-bit level of Blowfish encryption. You can create just about any type of password list you want to and customize them with your own colors.

The number of fields and categories are unlimited so the program puts no restriction on what you can save and keep. The program is supposed to allow you to import data from other applications but it doesn't seem to support any major ones though. There's not much too it other than to say that unlike some program, you do get the impression that it's well secured. Authentication can take quite a few moments although so can saving data as it seems communication between your PC and the central server can be a bit slow and frustrating.

Note that Password Retriever has now been incorporated into Data Guardian although the developers have chosen to keep it available on it's own because it's somewhat simpler and lighter.
